The last remaining turtle nest for this year has finally hatched yesterday evening at Ghadira Bay.

According to Nature Trust, the nest had the most challenging conditions due to storms and sea dwells. However they are glad that over 60 turtles have hatched from the eggs.

Two of the turtles showed signs of extreme dehydration and were assisted for the first few minutes on recommendation of their vet.

Nature trust thanked all its volunteers, their vet Dr Grupetta, ERA officials, MTA and all those who helped in making this busy nest year a success.
