Pictures taken outside a food bank in Dallas County, Texas, reveal thousands of cars waiting to be served forming a mile-long line of cars.
Since the start of the pandemic in America, around 10,000 boxes of food essentials were distributed to an average 1,710 families in need.
These thousands of cars include families in need of basic needs such as canned food, pasta, dairy products and other foods.
The area of the food bank is also booming with Covid cases with over 55,000 confirmed cases in total.
This event is happening because of the massive unemployment crisis which America is currently facing. Covid-19 has destroyed many small businesses leaving thousands unemployed with no income and in need of government support. The unemployment status in America has went from under 6% to a record of 14.7%
