A Russian woman living in Msida got sentenced to 2 years in prison after she threatened a taxi driver with an air-soft gun pointing at his direction.
The incident happened yesterday morning in San Giljan after the driver started talking to another passenger in Italian. The 40 year old Russian couldn’t understand and started offending the driver.
The driver took the decision to ask her to step out of the car, and that’s when she took out an air-soft pistol and pointed it at his direction. The driver headed straight to a nearby police station.
The Russian woman was taken urgently to court shortly after where she was found guilty of possessing a firearm and threatening with violence & with a weapon.
