A 30-year-old man from Marsa is kept under arrest after multiple drug substances were found in his residence.

At around 10:15 last Friday evening, the Drugs Squad together with the Special Intervention Unit, raided a garage in Marsa after strong suspicion of drug trafficking.

Suspicion arouse after multiple people already known to police were stopping by the man’s garage and exchanging money for objects in return.

The SIU officers had to break open metal doors to gain access and arrested a 30-year-old man.

From a search, police found sachets with cocaine and heroin, drug related items, several knives and an amount of cash.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
