A 26-year old man from Nepal was grievously injured after a car crashed into a jewellery shop in Birkirkara.
The accident happened at around 4.30 this morning when another Nepalese man who was driving a Mazda Demio lost control of the car and crashed into a jewellery shop in Triq Fleur de Lys.
There were two passengers in the car. One of the passengers was hospitalised as he was seriously injured.
