A group of people who were cleaning up waste dumped at sea in Paradise Bay encountered an unusual creature at sea. However this animal wasn’t a sea creature, it was an Iguana!

The iguana was put in a box and taken to shore where they noted that the creature was weak and injured. Afterwords the Iguana was given to environmentalist Arnold Sciberras who is looking after it.

The group who encountered the iguana is called Zibel. They are a voluntary organisation and NGO who’s aim is to reduce the overall waste in our islands.
