An 82-year-old old woman from Xewkija is grievously injured after being involved in a traffic accident.
The accident happened at around 7:15 last Friday evening in Triq San Bert, ix-Xewkija.
Investigations relieved that there was a collision between a BMW driven by a 37-year-old man from Nadur and a Maruti driven by the woman.
The woman was given first aid on site by a medical team and was then transported to the Gozo General Hospital.
Police are still investigating the case.
