An 18-year-old woman from England is fighting for her life after a quad-bike she was riding toppled over.
The quad-bike was being driven by a 28-year-old man when he lost control of the vehicle leading to it toppling over.
The man also sustained grievous injuries.
The accident happened at around 6pm yesterday evening in “il-Qolla l-Bajda” area in Zebbug, Gozo.
An ambulance and police were immediately called on sight which transported the couple to Gozo’s General Hospital.
Police investigations are still ongoing.
